Derma Spa is dedicated to providing ongoing educational and training opportunities for our staff which have included:

October, 2010, Dr. Hollis, Medical Director of Derma Spa, attended the Medical Laser Safety Officer Training sponsored by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

February 2011, Derma Spa purchased two new lasers from Cynosure. The SmartXide CO2 and the Smartlipo Triplex. Laser Trainers Claire Jimenio and Cherie Morgan traveled to Victoria to provide hands on training for the Derma Spa team.

March, 2011, Sherri Hannem and Kate Fielding from Derma Spa Esthetics attended the two day Vancouver Spa Show and various sponsored seminars.

April 2011, Dr. Hollis and six Derma Spa team members attended an evening seminar on Obagi skin care.

April 2011, Derma Spa sent seven team members to Allergan Advantage, an exciting, interactive session held in Vancouver addressing client service standards.

June 2011, Dr. Hollis, Shelley Clarke, RN, Anne Bowen and Paula Longhurst attended the three day Aesthetic Show and Conference in Las Vegas. The Aesthetic Show brings the latest aesthetic procedures, products and technologies together providing an intensive educational experience.

June 2011, Dr. Hollis and his wife Jane attended the Radiesse® Rejuvenation Symposia in Vancouver. Featured speakers were Dr. Allastair and Dr. Jean Carruthers followed by a live Radiesse® injectable demonstration.
