LASER
Shelley Clarke, RN – Laser Technician, Botox Injector
An RN since 1991, Shelley has a diverse background in nursing which includes experience in acute care, community health, cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery settings. She trained to become a laser technician in December 2000 and joined the Derma Spa Team in December 2005. In 2007, Shelley became a respected Cutera Laser trainer teaching the most current laser protocol and techniques to medical teams throughout Western Canada. Shelley specializes in the Titan, 3D and Pearl Laser Treatments and provides individualized care focusing on the specific concerns and goals of each client. For the past 4.5 years, Shelley has added Botox injecting to her practice menu with outstanding results. She is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Shelley is excited to be a part of a cutting edge clinic that provides a complete range of services to clients by a professional, caring team.
Etsuko graduated from Takigawa Esthetic School in Tokyo, Japan in 1992, obtained her Electrologist Certification in 1997 and in 2001 began using laser and light technologies for both hair removal and skin rejuvenation. She uses the Blend Method with Hinkel Technology for electrolysis which is recognized in the industry for achieving maximum results in permanently removing unwanted facial and body hair. Since joining Derma Spa in 2007, Etsuko has continued to expand her skill and expertise in laser hair removal with outstanding client results. Lianne obtained her nursing degree from the University of Victoria in 1995 and worked in various clinical settings before joining Derma Spa in 2001. As a Laser Technician, Lianne has taken extensive training on multiple platforms and continues to attend workshops and seminars on the latest laser technology and treatment parameters. She is a specialist in all laser treatments offered by Derma Spa, but has a particular passion for CO2 fractional treatments and the outstanding results they provide. Diane has over 30 years experience in the health care field, having worked in Labour Delivery, Dermatology and since 2001 working in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery as Dr. Hollis’ Surgical Assistant. Diane is a trained Laser Technician, skin care consultant and a passionate care giver. A lifelong learner, Diane stays abreast of industry trends and innovations by attending advanced training sessions, webinars and working closely with Dr. Hollis on new technology and treatments.Diane Klingspohn – Surgical Assistant

Dr. Harlow Hollis has over thirty years of extensive procedure history in the field of cosmetic surgery, giving him a vast understanding of all facets of cosmetic esthetics. The range of cosmetic concerns brought to him over the years is substantial and his unique background in both surgical and non-surgical treatments has given him the ability to offer comprehensive advice with clear objectivity. His primary work today is in the sphere of cosmetic esthetics, a field in which he excels. Dr. Hollis works extensively with a wide variety of Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers, Hydroxylapatite fillers and Botox® Cosmetic as combination therapy to address volume loss, provide contour to the face and relax excessive motor wrinkles.

Paula began working in the beauty industry in 1987 as a licensed Esthetician and was certified to administer injections under a Doctor’s supervision in 1999. Since that time, she has trained extensively with Dr. Hollis and taken part in many master level injectable educational symposiums. Paula is experienced in using a variety of Dermal Fillers and Botox® Cosmetic to achieve full facial corrections including cheek, chin and jaw contouring as well as reduction of acne scars, fine and deep line and lip augmentation. Elissa became a Licensed Esthetician in 2004 and since joining Derma Spa in 2005 quickly developed a passion for facial skin care. Under the direction of Dr. Hollis she began specializing in glycolic peels which can provide noticeable benefits for all skin types including aging, dry, sensitive or even acne prone. Elissa is a passionate researcher of product and treatment, always using her extensive knowledge to customize skin care regimes for her clients with outstanding results.Elissa Bradley – Licensed Esthetician
Kate trained in Victoria, BC and received her esthetic certification in 2004 and joined Derma Spa in 2007. With experience in both five star resorts and medical services, she has taken the best of each and applied them to her career at Derma Spa. Kate provides an extensive list of spa treatments including glycolic peels, microdermabrasion, all types of waxing, manicures, pedicures and body wraps/exfoliation. Sherri received her Licenced Esthetician qualifications in 1994 and has worked with Derma Spa since 2000. Sherri is a passionate, knowledgeable skin care professional and offers a wide variety of services to our spa clients – microdermabrasion, glycolic peels, facials, spa pedicures and manicures, cellulite management and all types of waxing services. MASSAGE
Kanetta graduated in 1991 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver, BC. Her experience as an RMT encompasses seven years in an exercise rehabilitation center and six years general therapeutic practice before joining Derma Spa in 2003. These years bring a multitude of massage experience in the following conditions: whiplash (ICBC), back pain, work related injuries, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, sports related injuries, repetitive strain, chronic pain, Fibromyalgia and arthritis. Kanetta also offers pregnancy massage and pre and post operative massage. In addition to treating medical conditions Kanetta promotes massage as a preventative way to encourage heath and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Donna has been practicing holistic healing at Derma Spa since 2003 after obtaining certification for multiple therapies from the Wild Rose College of Natural Healing, Douglas College and the Upledger Institute. Donna is a practitioner of reflexology, reiki, cranial sacral therapy, as well as a skilled relaxation massage therapist including hot rock and detoxifying wraps and scrubs. Lucinda received her RMT designation from the West Coast Collage of Massage Therapy in 2005. She continues her affiliation with the College by returning as a primary instructor and teaching assistant. In 2009, Lucinda received a Level 3 Certification in Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy www.vodderschool.com. Lucinda is a passionate advocate of the health benefits this innovative treatment can provide to patients when used in combination with therapeutic massage. In addition to MLD and all forms of therapeutic massage, Lucinda is trained to administer organic combination body wraps and scrubs.
