Lianne Stotz, RN BSN
Laser Technician

Lianne has been working as a Registered Nurse for 16 years in various clinical settings. She obtained her nursing degree in 1995 at the University of Victoria. Her approach has always been to provide high quality nursing care and to help people feel better about themselves through her professional and caring nature. Lianne joined Derma Spa in 2001 as part of the team at Derma Spa and Dr. Hollis’ surgical practice, Lianne brings her years of nursing experience to the job. Her experience in operating different laser systems as well as providing comprehensive skin care assessments and treatments to her clients results in the highest quality of care.

Shelley Clarke, RN
Laser Technician, Botox Injector

An RN since 1991, Shelley has a diverse background in nursing which includes experience in acute care, community health, cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery settings. She trained to become  a laser technician in December 2000 and joined the Derma Spa Team in December 2005.  Since that time, Shelley has become a respected Cutera Laser trainer, teaching the most current laser protocol  and techniques  to medical teams throughout Western Canada.   Shelley specializes in the Titan, 3D and Pearl laser treatments and provides individualized care focusing on the specific concerns and  goals of each client.  Since 2007,  Shelley has added Botox injecting to her practice menu with outstanding results.  She is an active  member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Shelley is excited to be a part of a cutting edge clinic that provides a complete range of services to clients by a professional, caring team.

Etsuko O'Donoghue
Laser Technician, Certified Electrologist

Etsuko is our certified electrologist and a laser technician. She graduated from Takigawa Esthetic School (Tokyo) in 1992, obtained her Electrologist Certification in 1997 and in 2002 began using laser and light technologies for both hair removal and skin rejuvenation. She uses the Blend method with Hinkel technology for electrolysis due to the high quality of results in permanently removing unwanted facial and body hair. Etsuko is passionate about health and beauty, her extensive experience allows for superior identification skills regarding laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, and face and leg veins. She has been providing fantastic results at Derma Spa since 2007. In her free time, she enjoys ballet and walking her dog, Tobi.

Diane Klingspohn
Laser Technician

Diane has over 25 years experience in the health care field. She has previously worked in Labor Delivery, Dermatology, and has spent the last ten years working in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. Working out of the office of Plastic surgeon Dr Lawrence Tang in Nanaimo, Diane and her business partner ran their skin care business Skin Unlimited for two years. Currently Diane is doing pre and post operative patient care in Dr. Hollis' surgical office. At Derma Spa since 2001, Diane is a laser tech specializing in skin rejuvenation.

Injectables

Paula Longhurst
Botox and Filler Injector

Paula has twenty two years of experience in esthetics, specializing in skin health. Over twelve of those years have been spent working with plastic surgeons, successfully training in the injectable field. Paula’s passion for excelling at her craft is shown with continuing education and working closely with Dr. Harlow Hollis. Many clients continue to travel a great distance to see Paula because of her technique, gentle touch and caring manner. She completed a master’s course with Q-Med Aesthetics in May, 2000 with extensive training including both theoretical and practical exams. Paula is experienced in full facial corrections including cheek, chin and jaw contouring as well as acne scars, fine and deep lines, lip augmentations using both Botox and injectable skin fillers. Paula is compassionate and sensitive to her client’s needs and desires. She enjoys people, music, yoga, meditation and reading; and loves being a part of the beauty industry.

Sherri Hannem
Licensed Esthetician

Sherri qualified as an esthetician in 1994 and has enjoyed working at Derma Spa since 2000. Sherri is a skin care specialist and offers a wide variety of services such as LaStone therapy, microdermabrasion, glycolic peels, cellulite management, facials, spa pedicures, French manicures and all waxing services, including the Brazilian. Sherri's genuine love of her work is reflected in her many happy and satisfied clients.
