Botox Cosmetic® is a safe injectable treatment (and non-invasive) that creates a more relaxed and refreshed looking face. Botox Cosmetic® is a purified protein that has been used in the medical field for many years and is the most popular way to help smooth unwanted frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet and much more.

RISKS
• Minor Swelling or Bruising may develop at the injection site.
• Some patients may develop a mild headache post treatment.
• Rarely, some patients may develop ptosis which is a temporary drooping of the eyelid in frown-line injections.
• It is important to keep your head upright and not rub or massage the injection site, for 4 hours post injections.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS
• Botox Cosmetic® is NOT an option if:
• You are pregnant or breast feeding.
• You have a history of neurological disease

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
• Contract the injected muscles for 1 hour post treatment.
• Stay in an upright position for 4 hours post treatment
• Do not touch the injected area for 4 hours post treatment.
• No vigorous exercise for the first hour post treatment.
• Some clients may develop a mild grade headache post treatment.
• Pain killers such as Aspirin or Tylenol do not affect your Botox Cosmetic® injection.
• Your initial results will appear within 72 hours and results will continue to appear for up to 14 days after your injection.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
• Some common injection-related reactions could occur, such as redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising, discoloration and tenderness at the site of implant. These reactions noticeably decrease within 1 to 2 days after skin injections and within 2 weeks after lip injections.
• Use ice on the swollen areas to help reduce swelling and redness. Do not apply heat to the injected areas.
• Lip augmentation can look somewhat uneven after injection.  Therefore your results directly after treatment should not be seen as the final result
